Steak Frites @ La Bonne Soupe or huge steak at Bistecca Fiorentina?

Going to Radio City Music Hall early Feb. From this board, I heard about La Bonne Soupe for steak frites. Being married to a real steak/frites guy...will the steak be large enough? If 16-oz., then that's great. I've heard about Bistecca Fiorentina with HUGE steaks, but I think they're a bit expensive.
Anyone been to either and can comment? I'm looking for before the show dinner with steak, fries & wine.
Thank you very much.

  1. LBS is pretty good value for their steak frites, and the location is good too. I've been going there for 7-8 years, happily enough.

    1. I doubt that the steak at La bonne soupe is 16 ounces. However, it is good. You can look at the menu on their website.

      1. Definately not a huge steak, but with the good salad and bread served with the meal, it makes for a good an filling lunch.

Also, the onion soup is not a bad way to start if he still wants more food. And there is always the crepe option ... ;o)
