Cavolo Nero (or substitute) and Tuscan bread?

Has anyone seen cavolo nero (or a good substitute) in the Manhattan? UWS is preferred (didn't see it at 72nd st Fairway), but will travel for it as well.

How about a good Tuscan bread?

  1. Try Dean and DeLuca. They are a little pricy.A good substitute is Savoy Cabbage . I guess you are making Ribolita.
    As for bread Sullivan St bakery make a great Tuscan Bread.
