seeking sliced pepperoni- by the pound

I am looking for an excellent quality pepperoni slice by the pound.
I can find Hormel pre-sliced for 5 dollars a pound but i am looking for a more fresh product.

I am thinking about hitting lil Italy.
ideas?

Most of the stores along Arthur Avenue in the Bronx will have it. Try Calabria Pork Store, which for me has the best salumi. Don't go there without getting their heavenly coppa.

DiPalo's (corner of Grand & Mott) has it along with excellent fresh mozzerella, ricotta and other goodies.
