hi everyone, I'm looking for the persian style beef stroganoff recipe, it differs slightly from your standard french/russian one. I'd love to hear how you prepare it. Thanks!

Meat Casserole (from "In a Perisan Kitchen")
3T butter,1LB ground beef, 1 lg onion, finely chopped, 1 cup spinach-chopped, 1/2 cup leeks (or green onions), 1/2 cup parsley, chopped,1 1/4 tsp salt, 1 tsp curry powder, 1/4 tsp pepper, dash cinnamon, 5 eggs, beaten.
Melt butter in a skillet. Saute the meat, onions for 15 mins. Add the chopped vegetables to the meat. Add seasonings and mix well.
Add the beaten eggs to the meat-veg mixture. Pour the mixture into an oiled 9"pie pan and cook @ 325 for about 30 minutes. Serve with yogurt.
    (Not quite "stroganoff" but delicious!)

This is a fantastic recipe - one from my childhood. Very comfort-foody.
