Korean Garden BBQ has got to be my second choice after Maru. It's less of a formal atmosphere than Maru but the Galbi and Bulgogi are excellent. If you limited the choices to restaurants closer to the strip then Korean Garden BBQ would definitely be my pick for the best Korean BBQ Restaurant in Las Vegas.

I loved Maru. the place is so damn romantic. My lady loved it. If you are trying to pick which restaurant is the best Korean restaurant in Las Vegas then this is my choice, hands down. Its only problem is that its too far away for most locals (Sumerlin-SW) so many people have never been there. But it is definitely the classiest Korean restaurant in town, and the prices are really good.

i tried the korean place ( i believe it's called seoul) in the same shopping center as lotus of siam and i tried the korean place on sahara just west of palace station....i believe it's called shilla....i am not an expert on korean food - both provided the 10 or so bowls of "appetizers" like the kimchi...had the beef, the pork, etc for bbq'ing and then the appetizer that's like an omelet with green onion and oysters...my SO is chinese, she did not rave about the food...i thought it was ok...but like it was mentioned by another...it was very pricey !!!

I think it is time to revisit Korean BBQ in Las Vegas. We absolutely LOVE the Honey Pig (4725 Spring Mountain Rd # K Las Vegas, NV 89102-8712 (702) 876-8308)-- great galbi and delicious mit banchan. Plus, they use a panchan, which I think delivers superior grilling.

Has anyone tried to the new All-You-Can-Eat place next to Raku? It is on our list to try, but if anyone has feedback definitely share it!

The all-you-can-eat place next to Aburiya Raku (I *think* it's called "Seoul Oak") is pretty good, decent meat quality, nice selection of panchan, the service is very friendly and it's a great bargain for the price, particularly if you're hungry. It's doesn't compare to the BBQ houses of LA Koreatown, but it's close to as good as anything I've had here and significantly cheaper.

According to two Korean friends (one's an immigrant--with citizenship, the other is second generation Korean), you have to go to Los Angeles--sorry. Both described the Korean restaurants in LV as overpriced and not good. Since Albuquerque (where I live) has a very good Korean homestyle restaurant (Fu Yuang), it's no loss for me.
