Il Fornaio has free food with drink purchase; pizzas with various toppings, calamari, croistini, two kinds of salad, can't beat the price. Bluewater Grill has a $2 menu: good size burger, crab dip with tortilla chips, oyster or shrimp shooters, fish taco, and a $5 menu with steamers, sorry I can't remember what else. Mediterraneo in Hermosa offers half price on most of their tapas. Michi has half price apps. too. You can get three spicy tuna rolls for $9. They are closing and changing owners soon though.

I am not a fan of "chain" restaurants but honestly, McCormick & Schmicks on Rosecrans has a great happy hour deal. Yes the drinks are a bit pricey, but the $2 Happy Hour menu is delicious and can be dinner. Oyster shooters, mini burgers, ahi tuna tartar, mussels and more.

They also have a really nice outside patio with a fireplace and heaters. Great for a work group or business happy hour. Also have done friend's birthdays at happy hour on the patio.

      Enjoy!
