Crispo or Po for Italian. Otherwise, there are a TON of very good restaurants in the area, so just explore (e.g. Snack, Little Owl, Wallse...)

Little Owl has great food and is very charming. If you don't have a reservation, they set aside two 2-tops for walk-ins and have a tiny bar.

For more casual places, 'ino is good (panini) and so is Moustache (Middle Eastern).

There's a new tapas place called Tasca on the corner of W. 10th St. that's great. Paella is delicious. You can also go to Les Deux Gamins on W. 10th St. if you want bistro food.

Seconded: Agave and Tanti Baci (ask for the chicken with lemon and capers even if it's not one of the specials...and cross your fingers that the risotto with pear IS one of the specials)

Westville is on 10th near Bleeker. Small place, but great food (and a standard delivery place for me).

I ate in Pesce Pasta on Bleecker Street last night and thought it was very good.

Greenwich Ave has some options: Good, Cafe Brussel, to name a few
