Good donuts in the Pasadena area?

I like the donuts in the Vons shopping center on Fair Oaks and Orange Grove. They also have good ham & cheese croissants.

Go with Gladstone. It's in the North Lake Shopping Area at Lake and Washington.

Their prices are cheap and they are 24 hours if you use the service window. The doughnuts are definately fresh and delicious!

Donut Man is easily the best donuts in all the land, but at one hour on the 210 eastward, it hardly counts as the Pasadena Area.

Worth the trip, though.

one hour? I got there in 20 minutes at 10pm last night. and i was barely speeding. the beauty of the place is that it's open 24 hours so you can go whenever traffic calms down.

it's only one hour if you head east for your donuts after work at the height of rush hour.

I've had good luck at the donut place on the corner of Michilinda and Sierra Madre in east pasadena, in the Albertson's shopping center. The family that owns it is really sweet and the donuts are always fresh

I'll chime in for Donut Man, too. And the drive at 3am isn't bad at all.

I think the drive to Donut Man is the way to go. (Sorry) In a late night, fresh donut needed pinch, though BC Donuts will do pretty nicely, Foothill at either Sierra Madre or Altadena (near the La Estrella #1). Caveat that I've only had them at night, but they are good then (and fresh).

donut man in pasadena area...that is stretch especially ( depending on time ) if you have to deal with the traffic...and make sure to ask what's fresh on the rack...it makes a difference even at donut man where there is a steady stream of customers.

How liberal are you about the definition of "Pasadena area?" The Donut Man in Glendora is worth the drive. Can't say I've had anything memorable within Pasadena...

I haven't been here for some time, but I don't think this place has changed much over the years... I don't even know the name of it, but it's in the RiteAid shopping center at Washington/Hill... on the corner, closest to Washington. TO DIE FOR.

still there, a favorite of the local work crews early mornings- was once a Pronto donuts, now i think just called Washington donuts...if we're talking the same place, it's on the n/e corner at Washington/Hill.
