Can anyone recommend a good, non-diet meal delivery service program?

It is for buying gift certificates for a friend who was just diagnosed with cancer, to support her and her partner while they go through some difficult days. Looking for healthful, nice quality food, does not have to be "gourmet" but they must be able to accomodate a diabetic diet. I found the posting below and allgoodthings.ca looked excellent. Has anyone tried them? Other suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I agree with h2o's req. Ask to speak with Tabitha. She is extremely accomadating. The food is very decent and fresh. The portions are generous. Our meals for 2 would often feed 3.

I have had some really great meals from All Good Things. They seem to specialize in customized dishes, so you fill out the online questionnaire and they will create a menu for you filled with all of your favourite dishes. It's all organic and really high quality ingredients. No complaints.

Try also Rose Reisman Catering - not cheap because delivery alone is $15... BUT if you call and explain the circumstances, they might be able to work a special program for you.

I have never heard of these people but they look like they could be a nice fit. It is my understanding that if the person is going through chemo than some foods can taste quite different.
