R.U.B.'s chili vs. Dinner at Per Se - On a cold night, it's no contest

It was freezing last night so I stopped into R.U.B. to get a bowl of their stellar chili, which comes with chunks of burnt ends. Talk about S-A-T-I-S-F-Y-I-N-G. It was deeply savory and I slept oh-so-well. There are definitely lots of duds on the menu (or, to be more precise, shrugs), but you can't go wrong with these selections: the pastrami and burnt ends (order them by the 1/4 pound to save money), the aforementioned chili, and the frizzled onions.
