    there is a wine bar/restaurant called Tarallucci e Vino on 18th between 5th and Bway that is very date-y. Boqueria or even Devi could work too.

      type of cuisine, how much you want to spend, etc. will get you more replies.

      as for just throwing something out there, Sala would be nice if you were interested in tapas.

            Pure Food and Wine on Irving is good for dinner and quiet, and another great date place (great food, great atmosphere too) is Candela (www.candelarestaurant.com). If you wanted to do dessert, Max Brenner's Chocolate by the Bald Man is fun, but a little loud. Ci Bar on Irving is classy and chic for drinks!

              The food at Craftbar can be middling, but it's a good date place (comfortable banquettes, lots of corner seating where you can sit side by side, large tables insulate you from other couples).
