Need recs for a 23rd birthday dinner...

...for a group of about 10. Want someplace with a youngish, downtown vibe where people can eat well and enjoy a few drinks without it costing more than $60-70/person. Italian, new american, seafood, tapas would all be fine. Ideal neighborhoods would be West Village, LES, East Village, Union Sq area. Thanks!

Second Stanton Social, also suggest Alta on W. 10th, great variety of small plates, strong sangria, and the room is pretty if you sit on the second floor.

Definitely 100% Stanton Social... even though my group of friends has been there several times, each one still picks it for her birthday dinner because it's consistent and fun. The French Onion Soup dumplings, Kobe sliders, and little lobster rolls are great. For dessert, you can get these incredible donuts.

I highly suggest Jane. The food was great and it is VERY reasonable. Also, Schillers would be a blast
