The Topsfield Commons/Vinwood Caterers..

I am having my wedding there, the Topsfield Commons in Topsfield, Massachusetts, in September and would appreciate any critiques/comments/observations regarding the reception site, The Topsfield Commons and their exclusive caterers, Vinwood Caterers. Thanks to all...........

  1. I have used Vinwood Caterers every year for the last 3 years for my company Christmas party. These guys are a class act. They even did my wedding back in 1989, unbelievable! You will find that every detail of your wedding dinner is treated as if they are serving royalty. The quality of their food is of the highest caliber. If you are ever concerned about anything, simply call Rick, Tom or Ray, they will quickly attend to any issues you may have. As for the Commons, have been there for several weddings. It is as elegant as most weddding halls in the Boston area. Vinwoods even holds their annual Christmas Party there, so you know it is charming and comfortable. Hope this thread was helpful.

    1. My sister had her wedding there 2 years ago, and the food was fantastic! Everyone was raving about it, and it was the only wedding I've been to where the food was one of the highlights. Congratulations, by the way!

      1. They did my wedding in 2005 & everyone raved about the food. Their customer service is great. Appetizers were wonderful & they have so many choices. Everyone always raves about the beef tenderloin.They are doing my sister's upcoming wedding & have done all of my cousin's weddings & I have never had a bad bite! Tammy at The Commons is wonderful to work with & The Commons is gorgeous. Good luck!

        Cherry Tomatoes with Spinach and Boursin
        Beef Scallion Roll-Ups
        Crab Cakes with Horseradish Cream Sauce
        Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce
        Crab Stuffed Snowpeas

        Salad Station

        Insalata Caprese
        tomatoes, basil, and fresh mozzarella cheese

        Spinach Salad
        with red onion, pignoli nuts, mushrooms, Mandarin oranges, and citrus vinaigrette

        Homemade Bread and Rolls

        Pasta Station

        Fettuccine tossed with cream and Parmesan cheese

        Roasted garlic and cheese raviolini with a tomato-basil sauce

        Cavatappi tossed with portabella mushrooms, plum tomatoes, garlic, and basil

        Entrée Station

        Roast Tenderloin of Beef
        accompanied by mushroom, Béarnaise, and horseradish cream sauces

        Chicken Picatta
        Boneless breast of chicken sautéed with white wine, mushrooms, capers, and fresh lemon

        Grilled Asparagus with Gorgonzola Cheese

        Sweet Pea Risotto
        with green onion and imported Parmesan
