First place you'll go once we thaw out?

What will be the first place you'll head to?

    Mr. Kent,

I need advise on what to get from Quality Seafood.

Didn't have a good first trip there -- Ordered the crabcakes, and they were mostly all breading, and the french fries were barely warm.

And there was this strange person (a customer) there who kept asking me weird questions.

However, the salmon I took away and grilled was good!

Oh, yes, the crabcakes are quite bad.

The soups are all superb. Especially gumbo and crawfish etoufee.

Oysters on the half shell, fried fish, fried oysters, steamed mussels and clams, fish tacos, shrimp salad, sealeg (imitation crab) salad.

Really, it's easier to list the bad stuff: clam strips, crab cakes, fried scallops, diablo shrimp, jalapeno poppers (never order a non-seafood item at a seafood restaurant.

I hit El Meson for lunch. One pibil, one pipian. Delicious.

I'd really like to try Alborz (Anderson @ Mopac). Never been there before. Bombay Bistro is on deck.

I just ate at House Park Barbecue and had my usual pork loin and sausage sandwich. A four dollar sandwich that's easily worth eight.
