I was working in the neighborhood (NE 25th & Sandy) and went here for lunch yesterday, and the meal was delicious. I had the Chicken Pad King (pan fried green beans, mushrooms, fresh ginger in a garlic chili sauce)excellent. I'm not that familiar with the difference between Thai and Laotian cuisine, but in addition to the standard Thai fare there were several interesting dishes on the menu.

As my wife and I are about to move into this area, if the rest of the menu is as good, I think this will be a regular stop.

I've only been once, but I thought it was pretty decent. Above average at least. We mostly got several salads and a curry. The best thing I had was the namm kao vientiane, similar to a nam kao tod. Most NE/Lao dish I saw on the menu. No listing of a Lao style som tum or sticky rice. So they may be Lao, but I think they're doing a mostly standard Thai menu for Portland. Based on the one meal, I wouldn't put it in my top 5 for Portland**, but it's good enough that if I was hungry in the neighborhood I wouldn't hesitate to return.

** Might as well list a possible top five: Pok Pok, Cha Ba, Siam Society, Thai Noon, and Thai Little Home.
