Good breakfast place in Chelsea

Jumptheshadow Jan 17, 2007 09:54 PM

Does anybody have suggestions for a good breakfast place to take a business contact in Chelsea? This will be on a weekday at 8:30 to 9 a.m. Thanks in advance.

I haven't found any great ones. If I were taking out a business contact, I'd probably take them to Cafeteria, on 7th and 17th.

La Petite Abeille is open at 9 am for breakfast on the weekdays. Very good food, especially the gaufres chantilly. Not as sleek as Cafeteria, but better food IMO.

I believe Le Gamin is open for breakfast at that time. It's very unassuming, though, so it might not be the vibe you're looking for here.

Le Grainne Cafe is where you should go...9th and 21st. Good food, quiet, unobtrusive service, nurse that coffee for hours if you like...a virtual international house of introspection.

Chelsea Square, 23rd and 9th. Usually quiet enough for business conversation at that hour, very reasonably priced, excellent service and good food.

Chelsea Square is just standard coffee shop fare, if that's what you're looking for.

I second Cafeteria. Have had many business breakfasts there. Very relaxed atmosphere and the food is pretty good. Very light and airy with good people watching.
