Best Sushi Around Hollywood and La Brea area?

I am looking for a place that is the opposite of Geisha House, if that gives you an idea. Thanks in advance.

Azami is on Melrose just west of La Brea.

Just go over the hill. Ike's fine, but there are better places on Ventura, e.g., Tama, Asanebo, Nozawa, Kazu ... even Katsu-ya is better than Ike, though it tends to be crowded and noisy (but so does Ike). Katsu-ya is in the same price range as Ike; the others are more expensive, especially Asanebo. If you do choose Ike, get the grilled octopus.

At Hollywood and Gower in a little strip mall is Sushi IKE. it's not too far from La Brea and worth the little travel time to get there.
