Of those, I'd skip Poleng. Too many iffy reports. The rest are awesome. For goodness' sake don't skip Cyrus.

Poleng for its price is an excellent restaurant. it is in a totally different class than perbacco coi and cyrus. if you want to do a cheaper, non fine-dining dinner at a restaurant with great food and a good vibe then hit poleng. but as maya said of all those if you have the wallet for it id skip poleng as well.

maya..have you been to any of these

Yes, I've been to all of them. Other than Poleng, they were all great - and Cyrus was outstanding.

loved elisabeth daniel, hence coi.thought slanted door was good to very good so poleng looked like ahipper version. never had great italian so perbacco seemed interesting and there is universal buzz on cyrus. never enjoyed fleur de lys gary danko et al as i thought too self important and not particularly generic to sf. would eat at swans or old aqua over those.loved tacquerias and never had great sushi vs ny. choices came from chron top 10 as i thought bauer was pretty consistent. price or price to value not a concern hope that helps

If you want Slanted Door but hipper, try Bong Su. Personally, I was disappointed with Poleng. And I really wanted to like it because I live nearby.
