romantic in MID TOWN?

Looking for something romantic for Valentines day that will not kill my wallet.. Midtown, could be up to 50th street east or West. I have done past searches and found the same spots mentioned. Thank You

I like Morrell's Wine Bar. The Russian Vodka could conceivably be romantic.

Hard to make suggestions without knowing what cuisines you prefer or exactly how high a cost would kill your wallet. That said...

My suggestion would be L'Impero. The food's delicious and, while there isn't any frou frou, in my view, the very attractive decor and just right lighting = romantic ambiance.
