Good, reasonably priced restaurant for a group of 10-15?

I'm looking for a spot we can have 10-15 people on a Saturday night. We'd like somewhere that is not super expensive. I was thinking Dosa, but I've heard mixed things about it. We're staying near Market/Church and another group is in Noe Valley, but it's more about the food than the location. We'll have been at ZAP all day so wine is not super important, though a full bar might be. We all love food. Not sure if there will be vegetarians among our ranks. Might be nice to have somewhere where they would be accomodating. Thanks!

Farmer Brown would work. They do Cal Influenced Soul food - fried chicken, collard greens, mac and cheese, etc. Entree prices are in the $10-$15 range, so it would be easy to stay within budget. It's a large space, so they should be able to fit your group. They also have a full bar.

If you are thinking Indian, I had a dinner for 15 at Aslam's Rasoi a couple weekends ago. The food is great and they were very accomodating, let everyone pay by separate check. I am pretty sure that they don't have a full bar.

I went to Suppenkuche for a birthday dinner on Saturday night. I am not a German food expert but everything I tried was very good, the beer selection was great and the place has a fun atmosphere. Entrees are all in the $12 to $18 range, and with one or two beers per person we spent under $35 each.

How much are you willing to spend per person, not including drinks, tax and tip?

i'd say $25-$30? less would be great, but i'm trying to be realistic. ideally somewhere with family style servings so we can order a lot and all share. should have put that in before, thanks!
