Bobby Lee's in Hayward

Bobby Lee's Smokehouse in Hayward seems to have had fire. Any information? I've going to Bobby Lee's for years. In my opinion it is the best southern style smokehouse in the Bay-area. I went there to pick his smoked North Carolina pulled pork only to find the store boarded up. Where else can I get Sourthern down-home smoked pulled pork and smoked turkey?

    It's been a couple years since I last did it, but BL's would smoke whatever meat/fish/game you brought in for $2 per pound. I'd bring in entire fish that friends would catch, and they would return it as smoked fillets vacuum-packed.

      2. Hope that y'all East Bay 'hounds can tell us about CJ's Meat Case and claims to be putative successor to Bobby Lee's. I've started a thread to gather more info.
