New Thai in W. Newton?

I've noticed a new Thai place on Elm Street, around the corner from Blue Ribbon. Has anyone tried it? It is in the space where that failed Chinese spot was previously. I may have to myself and report back.......

If you haven't done so already, I recommend trying Thai Thai kitchen on Pelham Street in Newton Centre. It's excellent and has a few tables for eating in. The staff are very knowledgable and helpful when it comes to ordering.

It's pretty decent..fresh and tasty takeout. But I still think Amarin is far better and more authentic for the area.

Ditto. The menu is fairly long and has some nice sounding dishes, but the few take out meals I've had were just OK. I prefer Tree Top or Erawan in Waltham for Thai in this area.

We had a few take out dinners and it was just OK. Nothing really bad, but nothing really good either. Can't remember exactly what we had, but we always get Pad Thai and some kind of massaman curry dish. It's the kind of place you go to when you're really hungry and don't want to cook or travel far,out of leftovers and already had Blue Ribbon for lunch (around the corner). As the Chinese say "hunger is the best spice".

too bad....I guess I'll still have to hi-tail it down to Amarin in Newton Corner for the good stuff. Thanks!
