Going for our annual superbowl weekend in AC. We have our usual suspect dinner reservations (Chef Vola Friday night and Rams Head Inn Saturday night). I recall having a wonderful champagne brunch at the restaurant in the Hilton years ago--we will be staying at the Tropicana, and I see they have Sunday brunch in the Wellington restaurant. Any feedback on the best brunch? We love everything, especially good seafood (raw, cooked, smoked and raw). Thanks!

I took the family to the brunch at the Borgata once, a few months after we had been to vegas and eaten at the brunch at the Bellagio. Maybe my expectations were skewed, but even though it was not at all bad, it was not the Bellagio.

Two things I enjoyed at the Bellagio often were the salmon and the shrimp. Although they had both at the Borgata, neither was first quality.

Post if you enjoy the brunch at the Trop.

We had the brunch at Wellington's in the Trop and enjoyed it very much. Oysters and clams on the half shell were very fresh and good quality, and colossal shrimp were perfectly cooked. The smoked fish (salmon, sable and whitefish) were just fair. We did not try the rack of lamb, having had rack of lamb for dinner the previous night, but it looked good. We also enjoyed a nice selection of dim sum and made to order bananas foster for dessert.

I heartily recommend the Borgota pretty much over any AC place I have been to, albeit, not Rams Head. I have not visited there ever, so cannot say.

As to the Borgota vs. any other Casino, in AC area, hands down no contest best. SeaBlue is awesome, the buffet is fantastic.

I personally know the person who buys the shrimp and salmon for Borgota and know it is the definately the same as Bellagio.

Folks do not expect AC to be as good as Vegas, and rightly so unless you are speaking Borgata.
