The $25 prix-fixe at Fleur de Sel (5 E. 20 St.) is a wonderful opportunity to sample the fine cooking at this Flatiron-district French restaurant. We enjoyed a shrimp ravioli appetizer, salmon over cepes and a warm granny smith apple crepe (one of the world's finest desserts, not on the prix-fixe menu, but worthy of a small supplement). We were treated magnificently by a woman who appeared to be the senior server in the small room...she was attentive, non-intrusive and proved to have a fine sense of humor. Ask to be seated in her section (our check indicated her name is Libbey).
