Chinatown Fish & Veggie Stands - How late are they open?

Does anyone know what time the fish & vegetable markets on Grand Street are open until?

    1. There's a lot of early evening, going home traffic in Chinatown, I think 6 is too early. At least the bigger ones on the main streets/near subway stations are are open well past then, at least 7-7:30.

Yes, many of them are open until about 7 or 8. Some of them close earlier, some later. Maybe when winter ends and the days get longer, they'll be open later.

By the way, you can find the really, REALLY inexpensive vegetables at the stands on Forsyth St. between Canal and Division Sts. next to the Manhattan Bridge overpass. Most of these are open until about 7:30 or 8.
