Any new reports of RED PEARL?

Thinking of going there for a special occasion and would appreciate any recent reports. Is this a special occasion place? Thanks.

      If the special occasion is birthday drinks with a few friends, especially in the under-35 range, then yes. If you're looking for more of a fine dining occasion, then no. I've heard several reports of spotty service and some things on the menu are pretty good, others less so.
