NY's Uppercrust pizza opening in Lake Forest, OC.

I was looking at the stores in the new shopping center on El Toro road and noticed that NY's Uppercrust Pizza is planning to open there. Easy access from the freeway. I go to the one in Foothill Ranch and thought the pizza was excellent. Although I went back recently, and I think they're slumping. The cheese seemed to be a poor quality then when it first opened, or my taste has changed. IOW, I think they KNOW how to make a good pizza, but are cutting corners or getting lazy as so many good pizza places in Socal inevitably do.

Anywho, it's still better than Z Pizza, which has good crust consistency, but the quality of the cheese and sauce was awful. Hopefully, Uppercrust will give us their best with this new opening and better location.

Do you know if they are putting in a wood fired oven. IMHO, it is the only way to do pizza.
