  1. DO YOU MEAN TACO TACO ON N 6TH STREET THEY SERVE PERUVIAN FOOD THE ROAST CHICKEN IS OUTSTANDING

    1. No, the place next to Union Pool is Chimu. But I've never been -- you might have luck searching under that name.

      1. Chimu is good.
They have REALLY delicious rotisserie chicken and sweet plantains and it's very cheap. My husband and I will order a half chicken with maduros (the plantains) and a side or rice and beans and it comes out to less than $10 with delivery.
Their other dishes are good too, but it's better to actually go there to eat those dishes. It's a very casual atmostphere, but the service is good and everyone's nice.
        It's a great neighborhood staple.

        1. Chimu is really good, i always get the steaks with the maduros. Check it out.

          1. chimu gets very favorable reviews here. also great is pio pio riko, on manhattan avenue in greenpoint.

            1. Chimu is mainly very good (I love their rice and beans). The chicken is dry every now and then though.
