Farewell Ming Tai in Millbare RIP

Today I pick up a fellow hound at SFO and we were going have wonton soup on a cold day. Arrive at the hotel and found newly opened sushi bar.

We had a decent meal with good service

Since my dining hound had a restriced deit I will reserve comment. Allowing time for them to work out the food.

Will miss MIng Tai

What's sad is whenever I would go they also seemed to have a good-sized crowd.
I will sorely miss the crispy salt & pepper fried tofu with dried fish!

Bummer! I keep a 5 page list of restaurants around the country that I'd like to try if I ever was in a particular city, including cities that I will probably never visit. Ming Tai had been on my list for years and probably the only reason I never made it there was I didn't have a street address, just the indication "Comfort Suites." My fault for being too lazy to put down the address.

Hopefully Ming Tai is still in biz on Noriega in SF . . . anyone been there lately?

I too have a long list of places where I want to go also. But I fear if I do not go as soon as I think of it I too have missed the boat.
On my last trip to Rickmond BC I found two places I want to try had changed hands and I missed the boat.
So for this year I think hounds should go as soon as possible and find the great chow.

Gosh, never made it to the Millbrae branch. When places like this go out of business, I can't help feeling guilty for not patronizing them.
