Relatively Inexpensive UES italian

Is there such a thing? There are four of us and my girlfriend has a craving for italian tonight. I am just trying to avoid the $20-27 entree places (though I know there are some delicious ones) Any recs would be great, thanks

I second Triangolo. Very good Italian food and fairly inexpensive. The service is very attemptive and the room is pleasant. You can check their menu at menupages.com

Caffe Buon Gusto on 77th b/t 2nd and 3rd is a nice little Italian place that's inexpensive. Not the best by any means, but it's quaint and friendly.

Very doable! Rughetta on 85th near 1st and Triangolo on 83rd near 1st are both cozy neighborhood places with great pasta that won't break the bank.

There's also Sotto Cinque in it's new digs on 86th between 1st and 2nd but I'd try the other two first.

        Hope this helps!
