Hi I'm looking to buy a Ultimate series 10 1/2 inch chef knife.
I live in Hamilton. Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

I've been looking for these too! No luck at the Hamilton resto suppliers or at Williams-Sonoma. Please let me know if you find a MAC source!!

Hi I found some Mac knives at the Casual Gourmet in Westdale. Not the one i was looking for but they have the mighty santoku (which I already own) and a few chef knives, but the longest one is 8 inches.

I prefer Shun Pro series to Mac. Superior knife for the price range.

I called Robin at Mac - give him a try- he was extremely helpful when Nella didn't get my knife in in time for xmas.

I have the ultimate 9.5" bought 4 years ago. use it almost daily with regular honing. still razor sharp.

bought it direct from mac in california.

have never seen the Ultimate sold at a retail store

DISH studios on Dupont sells some Mac stuff.

honestly i think the Professional and Ultimate perform about the same, but the price difference is huge.

well i gave in and I bouhgt the knife i wanted from cutlery and more.com The store in Burlington snubbed me and my wife, even though they carry that brand, we didnt wear our Gucci and Versaci clothes that day. I think its a lot cheaper to buy it online anyway, after the conversion to us dollars and all. Now i'm waiting for it to arive. Thanks for all your help.
