Mint tea

One of my friends said he had a cup of real strong but really good mint tea in Morocco which he's been looking for in NYC. He said it was green in color and the fragrance was so nice and strong that it even cleared his sinus. He said he's had many different kinds of mint tea here but nothing close to the tea had there.
Anyone know if such thing exist?

  1. If it's available in Manhattan, they'll have it at Kalustyan's I would warrant.

    1. I believe Moroccan mint tea is a mix of gunpowder green tea (the kind where leaves are rolled into little balls) and mint leaves. The green tea could be the missing element. Most American mint teas are just mint and other herbs.

      1. I have gotten tea called Moroccan mint(that I think is a blend of green tea and spearmint leaves) at McNulty's on Christopher St.
