Coffe and a Croissant East 50's -60's

Will be shopping in the area. Anyone know where to get coffee and a croissant before the stores open up around east 50's - 60's?

      Bottega del Vino opens for breakfast at 8am - 59th - I think between Mad and Park. Caveat is that I've only been to their sister restaurant, Via Quadronno, but IMHO they have the best espresso/cappucino I've had in NYC and have good croissants/bakery items. I've seen bags of the same coffee they use at VQ, so I'm assuming it's the same.
