Where do you go to treat yourself, when you are flying solo?

Just curious what places have great food and are comfortable to be in alone. Baltimore is closer to me, but I'd go to Washington for good food, good service, and really comfortable surroundings!

The bar at Palena is really nice and the bartender is friendly. The food is also excellent and there is rarely a wait.

I enjoy eating solo at the bar at Rasika in downtown DC, the bartenders are very friendly and very knowledgeable about the food.
