Two Dinners (on expense accounts) near Sofitel?

Hi All,
Philly hound here who is looking to give some company big-wigs a few dining options while they are in D.C. for two nights in early February. Basically, I'm trying to plan a fairly informal dinner for 6 on a Monday night, and then a more formal (or perhaps at least more expensive) dinner on a Tuesday night for around 10-15 people. While this group seems to judge places more on the price tag then the quality, they are open to "fun" places--they've been to jazz bars, creole restaurants, and asian fusion in other cities and have enjoyed all. (I'd be happy to provide names of restaurants in the Philadelphia area they've been to and enjoyed if that would help get your brain working). No vegetarians in the group to my knowledge, and everyone is a drinker. While this is on an expense account, the price per person (including tax, tip, booze, etc) must not exceed $125. The group will be staying at the Sofitel, though I'd be willing to book anywhere within a reasonable cab ride from the hotel. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

Charlie Palmer is the place for your more formal night.
