Help! Looking for suggestions for a place with decent food and some atmosphere that can accomodate a group of 16 for dinner on Friday March 30 and Saturday March 31. Preferably somewhere in the Village, Soho or Little Italy areas, but open to suggestions anywhere in Manhattan. This is a group of friends that gets together once a year; generally we do a more casual meal on Friday and nicer on Saturday, but we're not that picky.

I recently sat in the private room upstairs at the excellent Greek fish place Milos in Midtown if price is no object. Would be perfect for 16.

We had a holiday party in the upstairs area of Savoy. It would be perfect.

I went to a birthday dinner at Crispo in Chelsea. 14th b/w 7 and 8 ave i think. Food is yummy italian and they have a thousand proscuitto dishes. There is a back room that acommodates all those ppl. Great place.

Il Buco has a room downstairs that I think can accomodate a group that size. Tao has a table that overlooks teh erstaurant that seats about 20.

Thanks again. It looks like we are doing Veselka on Friday night and Crispo on Saturday. Rose at Crispo was especially warm and accomodating in making the arrangements. I also received a very prompt reply from the GM Jason at Veselka.
