Breakfast in KC--HELP!

I am taking my dad out for dinner tomorrow and his favorite meal is breakfast--specifically buscuits and gravy! He loves the waffle house but I was wondering if there was anything better--a little more high end. I know it might be hard to get buscuits and gravy considering it IS dinnertime (most places stop serving B&G at 11 AM), so anyplace that has a breakfast menu 24 hours is a possibility! I know IHOP and CrackerBarrel are options, but I was wondering if there were any gems out there. Preferably, I would like suggestions for North Kansas City/Gladstone/Smithville but can go farther-- Thanks for your suggestions!

You might try the Corner Cafe in Riverside. You could call to see if they serve breakfast all day. It's a hopping place, everything is always very fresh.
