Butter Molds

Lindalicious Jan 9, 2007 04:32 AM

My friend is in search of butter molds for his momma. Where in the heck can I find them? I don't want "vintage" or expensive...just simple. If they come in a star shape, that'd be icing on the cake. Thanks!

Google "butter molds" and "candy molds" and you'll get a bunch.

If you want to find them in stores, I think any candy-making supply store or kitchen stores would have them. Even Michaels probably has them.

I have used a springerle rolling pin or molds for this purpose.

Sur La Table normally has tons of them, all shapes and sizes.

Thanks for the replies and suggestions. At this point, it looks like he'll have to order online. We don't have too many specialty shops in Nashville (yet).
