Any suggestions for good food and excellent service in APPLETON, WI?

Hi,

I'm looking for a local upscale but not too upscale (no chains) restaurant with excellent service as close as possible to the following address:

3000 Victory Lane, Appleton, WI 54913

I would like to give a gift certificate. Food type might be continental, American or Italian? Maybe a delicious steak house?

If anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I went to college in Appleton and I still can't believe how good the restaurants are there.

    Some of my favorite places:

    Koreana
    Nakashima
    Stuc's Pizza
    Mongo's Mongolian Barbeque
    Apollon - excellent Greek food

The Seasons is good but pretty pricey for Appleton - especially when there are so many affordable and better restaurants.

Having lived in The Fox Valley for several years, I can tell you your options are going to be limited.

The Seasons is pretty good and as close to "formal" as you're likely to get.

I always liked Nakashima's. It's like Benihana's with cheaper drinks.

Koreana is in a strip mall but actually quite good.

Fushion tries really hard to be cosmopolitan, it's not bad, just fdon;t look at the pictures of food on their website...I think they were taken with a pinhole camera at night.

If it were me though, I'd totally want a GC to Franks Pizza Palace on College Ave.

      Good luck!

        Victoria's Italian Cuisine
        The Melting Pot
        Fratello's
