Any suggestions for good food and excellent service in YORK, PA?

I'm looking for a local upscale but not too upscale (no chains) restaurant with excellent service as close as possible to the following address:

930 North Hills Road, York, PA 17402

I would like to give a gift certificate. Food type might be continental, American or Italian? Maybe a delicious steak house?

If anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated.

Porky's Place BBQ is great but it's primarily a take-out place.

I've gotten a gift certificate for the in-laws to the restaurant at the Yorktowne Hotel (The Commonwealth Room) with good results. They're definitely up-scale, though. And the recipients aren't what I would call Chowhounds, so I don't know if their good experience would mean that the food is necessarily spectacular (they're definitely chain-eaters).

I've heard that the Blue Moon has just re-opened under new ownership. I haven't been there, so I can't speak to the changes, but it may be worth checking out.

You must be lost whomever you are. You are in York, Pa. Not Las Vegas. My wife and I eat out alot, and the best steakhouse places to eat would have to be, Coombs Tavern, The Sherwood Inn, or The Road House.

Bel Paese is some darn fine Italian in York...
