Spring Street Smoke House -- What's good?

Ordering lunch tomorrow from this place. Any suggestions about what to order (or what to avoid)? TIA hounds.

I thought the St. Louis ribs were pretty good BUT the BBQ King down the street is far better in taste and quality.

Well David Kahn, how was the grub? I haven't tried it mostly because there have been so many neg. comments on CH!

This was take out for a large group, and the folks at SSG were super friendly and made everything easy. (BBQ King is good, but their service blows; I can't even imagine trying to order lunch for 20 with any expectation that I'd get what I ordered on time.) That said, the food at SSG was just okay, I thought. Not at the level of the Eastside Market or Langer's (of course, not even close), where we usually go to takeout department lunches. The best item was the pulled pork sandwiches. Everything else was okay, but just okay.

Avoid that place, it's a waste of time. Food, service, sucks

I agree Everything was TERRIBLE! Worst chicken links I ever had in my life. The sides were bland terrible had mac & cheese

Either skip sauces, or get them on the side.

The cajun stuffed chicken and the bread pudding.

Not a big fan of their ribs.
