    also for U Haverhill-ites:

Johnny's Martini bar is/has closed and the word is that they will be replaced by a Thai restaurant. let's all hope for good things.

Not too far from N. Andover (off 495) in Chelmsford is a great sushi place - Sakura's on Summer St. They've gotten some great write ups.

I have been craving sushi since Asian Bay closed. Where is Haru in North Andover?

from what i hear the folks that had Asian Bay are the same people that now own Wang's Table. they still have sushi.

I was there on Saturday. It was fantastic. I'm new to sushi and the only thing I really can compare it to is the old Asian Bay in Haverhill. now I know the difference between good sushi and really good sushi. Had a nice spicy tuna, octopus, crab, and a roll with tempura sweet potato inside. All fresh and really good. Will be bake soon.
I went to Mootone in Andover on Sunday, and that was really good too.
            I'm hooked now.

could you tell if Haru was doing anything different? like live stuff or if they regularly have toro?
i was never really impressed with Asian Bay, but i did kinda like Sushi Inaka up 114 a bit. i have not been to Moontone either, do you know if they have anything kool?

Like I said SS, I'm sort of new to the sushi scene, and the only thing that really stood out to me was the freshness of everything, including the rice. I think I noticed a toro special of some kind of tuna, but I'm not 100% sure. I'll ask my GF who is more up on it than I am. She did all the ordering because I was doing all the drinking.
