Makin' Bacon

I love Bacon!
all kinds.

I want to start making my own. I have the book, but I don't have the pig belly. Problem is I can't find it. I live in St. Louis (St. Charles area), and if I go into Schnucks and ask for pork belly they look at me as if I spoke in latin.

Somone guid me to an old fahioned Butcher shop!

  1. You must have Asian butchers there somewhere, right? They usually cut it in "thin" slabs, but they should be able to give you bigger pieces, certainly with a little advance warning.
