Looking for a real good brunch in Central Jersey

We have been to Molly Pitcher a few times and, if you can get in (read - make reservations EARLY), it is as good as it gets locally. The food has all high quality ingredients and first rate preparations (no gems or surprises, but no duds on the buffet either), the room is beautiful, especially when the weather permits the view of the river, and the service befits the setting.

Not from personal experience, but the brunch at the Molly Pitcher Inn, in Red Bank, receives universal praise.

Around the Princeton-Trenton area, KC prime has a lovely brunch at an average price. However, for about $50, Rat's at the Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton is pretty incredible.

I second that! KC Prime's brunch is fabulous! It is truly worth every penny. They make a terrific Bloody Mary too!

I have friends who swear the brunch at the Short Hills Hilton is the most wonderful one they've ever been to- I have it on my "to do" list.
