Coral Gables lunch

Could you recommend a nice lunch place close to Fairchild Botanical Gardens. Thanks

  1. If by close you mean witin 6 miles, I would recommend Francesco. If you go their 3 sauce ceviche and their either pasta or risotto nero are not to be missed.

    1. There's a Miss Saigon Bistro around 95th and US1. I've been to the one in Coral Gables and not this one, but it is reliable good (if not great, and somewhat dumbed down) Vietnamese food.

      There's also Captain's Tavern right around the some part of US1 which is a very nice seafood place. I haven't been in a couple years, but it's been around forever and I'd be very surprised if it's gone downhill.

      1. Town, Pizzeria Blu, Miyako, Casa Larios, and everything South Miami has to offer are very close.

        1. Fairchild has a nice little outdoor cafe near the Rare Plant House that serves freshly made sandwiches and salads. We just ate there a couple of weeks ago and the food was very good.
