Recently read about the Zyliss Jumbo for large garlic cloves. Has anyone used this and is it worth buying. I use so much garlic and often use big cloves.

Saw Baking w/ Julia episode the other day and the guest said that she preferred chopping garlic to using a press, and asked Julia's opinion. Julia said she didn't care, as long as there was plenty of garlic!

Get the Zyliss -- I use it -- it's wonderful.

I use it, too. I like it even better than the Oxo.

But only use it for those that truly appreciate good garlic prep. Avoid use for those that are PFCHLODYTES

I just bought one. The large one. I used it last night for the first time. It worked great. Clean up was easy. They are not Swiss made as someone said. They are made like most everything these days in China.

The one I have was still made in Switzerland -- ah, for the good old days
