We are looking for suggestions for breakfast and lunch in Carmel Valley. Dinner plans are for Bernardus both nights at their two different restaurants. Has anyone eatten at their restaurants recently?

I have to agree with Margot. I love this place! The trout and fresh garden green salad makes a lovely, tasty lunch. Wine list is limited due to the owner's (Georis) tasting room being right there.

A favorite lunch place for me when the weather is warm is the patio of Corkscrew Cafe. Their produce and herbs come from their own large garden. They serve local fish and hormone-free meats.
