Late Night Dining in Tucson

We're heading to Tucson next weekend because my husband's band has booked a gig there. He likes to avoid a big meal before playing, but is always famished after a show, so I'm hoping for some recommendations for a post-gig meal. I suspect we'll be ready to leave the club around midnight, and would like to eat something besides fast food or, god forbid, Denny's (I think I'd rather go hungry).

The show is at a bar at 4th Avenue and 6th Street, and we'd like to not travel too far. We're not looking for anything fancy, and would be open to greasy diner-type breakfast food, Mexican, Thai, Chinese, Indian, Ethiopian, Middle Eastern, and lots of other things I haven't mentioned. Not big into sushi, though.

I've already noted Mi Nidito as a possibility (their website says they are open until 2:00 am on Saturdays), but would welcome any suggestions.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

  1. Brooklyn Pizza Co., right on 4th Ave/ 6th St, serves until 2:30am on weekends. Fast-casual, nothing fancy, but some worthy slices of pizza (popular with the locals)--

    1. You might check out Kingfisher; that was the only reliable place we found that did late night in tucson....

      1. Here's a link to a bunch of places that stay open late in tucson...take a peak and see what sounds good to you. Gentle Ben's near campus has some pretty good grub.
