Salmon Chili ... you got a recommendation for me?

Anywhere in the greater LA area.

Thanks very much.

I, too, have only seen this at Whole Foods. I have gotten it numerous times and it is tasty. My only comparison is the salmon chili packaged stuff (looks like a big capri-sun) my in-laws send me from Seattle and the WF one is much much better.

Whole Foods often sells a decent salmon chili in the seafood department (usually available at the West LA WF at Barrington & National, less consistently in BH & Westwood).

Otherwise, I'm sure I've seen salmon chili anywhere else in LA! For example, I don't think they do any fish chilis at Chili My Soul (or at least, there's no mention of same on their website). Nor at Bristol Farms, where they reliably have 3-6 different beef, pork, poultry, and/or veggie chilis every day but IIRC none that use fish. If you google <"salmon chili" "los angeles"> you get more references to Chinese or Thai dishes using salmon and chilis, which sound good but not what you're asking for, if I understand your request correctly.

Hopefully others will have better suggestions.

        Thanks PayOrPlay.

That's correct. I am searching for chili made with salmon and NOT chili (the fruit) paired with salmon in a dish.

But salmon filet with a good medium or hot salsa like Empress Valley that Whole Foods carries is truly wonderful when baked at 450 for 15 minutes.

            Indeed it is!

Or salmon with just a nice salt rub ...
