How's Grillfish?

I've been past the place many times and it looks alright from outside (located at New Hampshire and M). Their online menu is straight forward and looks appetizing. And the prices are nice and moderate. But there's next to nothing on here. Is it worth a try? Any opinions?

the last time i was there, food was some what predictably sub-par. the fish seemed fresh enough but no real flavor/culinary appeal.

It can be either just ok or very bad. I've had better luck at dinner than lunch. On the other hand, I went there for a late dinner Christmas week and it was awful; the fish was overcooked and the potatos were cold.

I ate there occasionaly when I worked close by (its been about a year now for me too). I liked the atmosphere. I agree with gina, just order straightforward and you should be happy enough. Our service was always pretty good.

I've eaten at Grillfish many times in the past, and only had one meal I remember not being happy with--trout that was not cooked quite enough. Last time I was there was over a year ago, though.

It's nothing fancy or terribly creative, but sometimes just a straightforward fish dish hits the spot. I remember the scallops, caramelized and served over wilted greens, were very good. I also recall that it got pretty hot and crowded for dinner; if that's still the case, I'd recommend going for lunch if you decided to try it out.
